What creating an LR online changes
Nothing changes about the document itself. An online LR carries the same details as the one from the book: consignor, consignee, goods, truck, driver and the LR number. What changes is where it lives. The paper copies still travel with the goods, while the record stays in one place your office can search.
- The number comes from your series. You set the starting number once, and each new LR takes the next one, so the register has no gaps or repeats.
- The copies print themselves. Consignor, consignee and driver copies come in a single PDF, so no one is writing the same details three times.
- Nothing is lost. The PDF can be downloaded again from the order whenever a party asks for it.
- Billing already knows about it. When the trip is completed, the order's GST invoice lists its LRs, and the POD is filed against the same order.
How to create an online LR or bilty
- Sign in. Enter your mobile number and the OTP. BilToz opens in a browser on a phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to install.
- Open a new order. Pick the party from your list, then add the route. One order can carry several routes, each with its own LR.
- Fill in the consignment. Consignor, consignee and goods are needed on every LR, along with the truck and driver. Add the e-way bill number if the consignment has one.
- Download the PDF. The LR is numbered from your series and downloads with all three copies, ready to print for the driver.
- Share it if the party wants a copy. The WhatsApp button opens a share panel with a ready-made message. Type the party's number under Send to, or leave it blank and pick the chat in WhatsApp, then attach the downloaded PDF yourself.
First-time set-up takes a little longer: KYC with Aadhaar and PAN, your company profile with bank details, logo and a signature or stamp, and your number series. Our LR and bilty software page walks through that once-only part.
Online LR generator and online bilty generator, or a blank format?
Both have their place. A blank format is fine for the occasional consignment; software pays off when the register, the billing and the proof of delivery have to agree with each other.

What it costs and what it does not do
Every feature is free during the launch period: no credit card, no trial period and no limit on the number of LRs. Paid plans may come later, with notice first.
Worth knowing before you move your LR book online:
- An internet connection is needed at the moment you create the LR, because it is saved online. The PDF, once downloaded, is yours offline.
- E-way bills are not generated here. You can type the number and it prints on the LR; the bill itself comes from the government portal.
- GST is not calculated. Invoices print CGST and SGST as Rs 0.00 with a fixed reverse charge (RCM) note, so check the treatment with your CA.
- Only Transporter accounts create LRs. Company accounts, for businesses sending goods, cannot.

Transporter accounts. Company accounts, which are for businesses sending goods, cannot create orders, LRs or invoices.
