Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law to use the Service. By registering you confirm that the information you provide (mobile number, business details, GSTIN, PAN, Aadhaar where applicable) is accurate, current, and complete.

You are responsible for safeguarding the credentials used to access your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

BilToz is required to verify the identity of every registered business (“KYC”). You agree to submit genuine Aadhaar, PAN, and GSTIN information within 30 days of registration. Verification is performed via licensed third-party providers (UIDAI, NSDL, GSTN, Cashfree). Submitting forged or tampered documents will result in immediate suspension and may be reported to law-enforcement.

If KYC is not completed within the deadline, transactional features (orders, payments, reports) will be locked until verification is complete.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
• Upload viruses, malware, or any code intended to disrupt the Service.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the source code of any part of the Service.
• Impersonate another person or business, or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Use the Service to send unsolicited communications (spam) to other users.

BilToz is offered free of charge during the current launch period. Some premium features may be introduced in future with separate pricing — these will be clearly marked and require explicit opt-in.

Third-party charges (SMS, KYC API hits, payment gateway fees on user-initiated transactions) may apply at cost and are passed through transparently.

You retain all rights to the business data (LRs, invoices, party records, documents) you upload to BilToz. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process this data solely to operate and improve the Service for you.

BilToz retains ownership of the platform, software, branding, and any aggregated, anonymised analytics derived from usage patterns.

We work hard to keep BilToz available 24×7 but make no guarantees of uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance windows will be announced via in-app notifications and email. We are not liable for downtime caused by force majeure, ISP failures, or third-party service outages.

You may close your BilToz account at any time from Settings → Account → Close account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or pose a risk to other users. We will give reasonable notice except where immediate action is required to protect the platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BilToz, its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed ₹10,000 or the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months, whichever is greater.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vadodara, Gujarat.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
